ngl this is the whole reason i asked if it was already coded before you made this post. now it doesnt even seem to matter what people think/vote for because you sound like "i already did all this work and its what i want so its going to come regardless" type energy because you dont want to feel like you wasted your time.Ktm drip wrote: Thu Aug 06, 2026 8:46 pm This was sorta my take when I started, I wanted to do things that I would generally enjoy doing, and would personally be happy for if they came out. Some of these things were already suggested some were my own and if people wanted it they can have it if not then they don’t it hasn’t costed me anything. A big issue is this is a 30 player rsps at best. It’s been the same game for years with no innovation no nothing and it needs it, it’s lived off its old success from 10 years ago far too long. Every successful rsps have new things there own innovations we’ve had death and custom whips and they were 10 years ago, this whole we need what osrs has, has been the biggest killer to this game. Personally player feedback on things is kind of redundant with the current player base, if this was osrs sure poll things get as much feedback as you can because you’ve got a big audience to appeal to and people who pay membership to have access to the full game. Let’s say hypothetically everything on the list was added and other things I’ve done that’s not on the list. Some people may hate it some may like it. But hypothetically let’s say everything on this list was added and everybody hated everything on this list nothing would change because the audience isn’t big enough for it to matter however if people enjoyed it and then in tern gained players then great it’s helped hasn’t costed me anything which is sort of my point in all. However I’m willing to help and bang out updates consistently some things people won’t like some people will. The whip and the anger weapons are whatever they were just a quick two minute thing I did starting off, but hard mode tob, the well, daily/weekly tasks vote stuff ect would be great for the game and o think it would be a shame if it never got added because of fomo? P.s some of this may sound “sinister” reading back but my personally take it let people who wanna help, help and then when things if they ever do pick up again then start getting more feedback on things poll things appeal to the audience. Also I don’t expect everybody to like everything I wasn’t expecting that my plan id do a lot then people can have the good bits then leave the bad out.
saying "its only 30 player base feedback doesnt matter" is a terrible take, its literally the reason all feedback should be taken even heavier, because if we lose 3 players to bad updates thats 10% of the base gone. Also i dont agree that making pkhonor more closer to osrs was what killed this game. what killed this game imo is the fact that updates hardly EVER came into the game, bugs were left ignored for months, owners went MIA after constant empty promises of "im back", and other RSPS's came up that had things like a fully functioning runelite and were MORE in line with osrs and pvp updates. If anything runelite and gauntlet coming has revitalized the current player base and is even bringing OG names BACK to pkhonor
also i said i agree with weekly tasks that seem more managable, but when you introduce daily tasks, fomo leads to people feeling like they NEED to play everyday, which long term imo will lead to more players burning out if we start down this path.
i dont think you should clutch your pearls with a "im going to help but its what i want or nty" energy either, if youre going to help you cant complain when you get negative feedback to your post, if that's what this is.
edit: i hope what im saying doesnt come off as too harsh, but you sounded very hard headed in your response as well, but i do appreciate you and other devs working to make pkhonor better, i think that's the goal we'd all want and i should be able to give my feedback without feeling like the devs just dont really care about the playerbases feedback
