Method

Use the skilling teleport to the hunter area

Talk to the Hunting Expert and teleport to the jungle hunting area

Run directly east until you reach one of the boulders

Chop some logs from the nearby trees and set the trap on the boulder

Wait until the trap is sprung and check it.
If you fail just reset the trap with your extra logs
