Fixed (or should be) in the last RuneLite client v342:
Now that we're managing to properly read the actual OSRS cache (and world map) again in the RuneLite client, we can re-add those three altars server-sided. A low-priority little side project for when we replace the old client with the RuneLite client (since the world map probably still looks bugged as hell on the old client).
- Certain yells will appear for a few seconds and then disappear.
- The red flag on the minimap that is placed when you move around doesnt line up right. the bottem pixel of the flag should line up with the tile you are clicking to.
- When activating/de-activating quick prayers, your character moves as if you've clicked the minimap
This exactly. At some point, several years ago, when we updated the cache to the latest version of OSRS, our client loaded some map data completely wrong and the cosmic altar suddenly looked really weird and had a lot of compost bins near it (?). As we didn't manage to fix the bug in the client, we decided to patch this by moving the runecrafting from the altar to the rift for those three rune types.Brant wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 6:07 pmFairly certain that's due to the map data hasn't been added in the server (like the walkable tiles data)Iron adam wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 4:42 pm I noticed something weird, certain yells will appear for a few seconds and then disappear.

The cosmic, mind, and body altars need to be made functional. I tested out the spots on the map where the altars are since the abyss teleports arent currently functional. they have lots of dead tiles that cant be walked on and the altars dont work for crafting runes.
