RuneLite client
The RuneLite client now replaces the client everyone has been using for the past several years. To use it, simply start your PkHonor client as you normally would.
If you previously installed a beta version of our RuneLite client, please remove it and switch back to one of the official downloads available on our Play page. The old beta client is no longer maintained and will not receive any further updates.
Major credit goes to @Brant for carrying out much of the initial development of the RuneLite client.
Android client
The Android client has been added to our Play page. Simply open the page on your Android smartphone and tap “Android APK” to download it.
If you previously installed a beta version of the Android client (called "PkHonor_beta-mobile"), please uninstall it and download the official release from our Play page. The old beta app is no longer maintained and will not receive any further updates.
Due to Android’s strict security measures, you will probably be presented with several warnings. First, Android may ask whether you want to allow your browser to install apps. It may then block the installation because it does not recognise PkHonor or its publisher. In that case, you may need to tap “More information”, followed by “Install anyway”. Android might then ask once more whether you are really, really sure.
After making it through all of that, you should be able to play PkHonor on your Android smartphone!
Web client
Alongside RuneLite and the Android client, we have also released a brand-new web client that allows you to play PkHonor directly from your browser. You can find it at the bottom of our Play page.
The web client is generally slower than our native clients, so we recommend using RuneLite when playing on a Windows, Linux or macOS computer and the Android app when playing on an Android smartphone.
However, the web client now allows iPhone users to play PkHonor for the first time! It also provides a convenient alternative for anyone who cannot or would prefer not to install an application on their device.
The web client is fully responsive, meaning that its interface automatically adapts to your device, whether you are playing on a desktop computer or a smartphone.
Up to date with OSRS content
Alongside the release of our new clients, we have also brought PkHonor’s game cache fully up to date with the latest version of OSRS. This gives us everything we need to start bringing some of OSRS’s most exciting recent content to PkHonor.
Over the coming months, we plan to work on content such as Group Ironman, Tombs of Amascut, the Fortis Colosseum, Desert Treasure II, Araxxor, Tormented Demons in the Ancient Guthixian Temple, Yama, the Royal Titans, the Hueycoatl, the Doom of Mokhaiotl, Vampyrium and, eventually, the Sailing skill.
We cannot promise an exact release order or timeframe for each piece of content just yet, but we are excited to finally have the technical groundwork in place. We look forward to sharing more details in future updates!
